FLYING TO THE MOON

Have you ever thought about how we managed to fly to the moon? How many attempts does it take to get there? How many times have we failed? How many disasters? How many times have we flown off course? How much thinking, planning and determination? Space explorers didn’t give up; they believed that one day all the elements would be in the right place at the right time to create the most incredible result.
I often refer to our challenges in life as ‘flying to the moon’.
I was offered this analogy when I was ill. It truly resonated; it helped me to keep looking forward, take the setbacks as part of my learning and stay positive. After all, it’s through our ‘off-course’ moments that we really can learn.

I’m well on my way to ‘my moon’. I’ve lost my focus many times, often I did not listen to ‘my sat nav’, other times I let negativity and sadness overwhelm me. Ultimately, the will to regain my health shone through. In the moments of clarity, I was able to acknowledge my progress, regain my focus and try, try and try again.
If you are pursuing ‘your moon’, I wish you love, patience and the ability to learn. Appreciate your life today, right now. Allow your setbacks to be the catalyst that propels you forward, and most of all, be kind to yourself.

With love,

Glynnis x
