SOMETHING VERY EXCITING IS HAPPENING

It’s been a little quiet at A Dove’s Life recently, or so it may seem!

I have actually been super busy behind the scenes, and I don’t quite know how I’ve managed to keep this little gem a secret. Something very exciting is happening … it has taken months and months of hard work, soul searching and patience.

After I recovered from ME/CFS, it was my dream to write a self-help book. A ‘How to Recover from Illness’ book. It’s been a slow burner; I got distracted by life, but with the encouragement of a friend, I picked up where I’d left off and carried on writing. Then I started a course on teaching children meditation. The course highlighted the anxiety experienced by many youngsters. I heard on the news that some children as young as three and four were self-harming; I was reduced to tears and felt compelled in that moment to switch my focus, and so … another little book idea was born. Over the last twelve months, I’ve developed a guide for parents to help themselves help their children lead a happy, balanced and loved life.

I’m so excited and hopeful that the intention behind this little book translates and helps many parents, grandparents, carers, teachers and children.

I’ve allowed my energy to flow where it needed to go. I believe that when you follow your path in life, the good stuff happens and happens with ease. Over the next few weeks, I will be sharing little snippets in preparation for the release of the real-life book, Magic Maguire and The Happy Hat, on 28th January 2019. I would like to thank the incredibly talented Becca Hall for her patience and her skill in helping translate what was in my head and drawing it onto paper. Becca, you are a star. Also, all those very lovely people around me who have been so patient and have offered such valuable feedback, thank you so much.
