THE LOVELY LAW OF LIFE

I will be accepting receipt of my book this week. It has been a long, drawn-out process. There have been times, only a couple, when I have tried to hurry things up… and guess what? it doesn’t work!

This is partly due to the mysterious world of publishing and partly due to The Lovely Law of Life.

‘The Lovely Law of Life, what is she rabbiting on about now!’

You know, The Lovely Law of Life:-

When you worry incessantly about a situation and it’s only when you stop worrying that said situation gets resolved.

When you have lost something, and it’s only when you stop hunting and take a breath that you find it.

Or when you are thinking about someone and then your phone pings and it’s them!

We learn the habit of worrying, of trying to manipulate our life, when all we need to do is relax and go with the flow. I used to cringe when well-meaning mentors said that to me. “There’s no time to relax, go with the flow… there’s too much to do” Over time, I have learnt that when I relax, life happens at the right time and in the right place.

Of course, you need to put your wishes out there, in your thoughts and meditations, but the more you can release worry, the more space there is to focus your thoughts on the ‘good stuff’. The Lovely Law of Life can then pick up these positive vibes and deliver your wishes when it’s the right time. So what if these wishes are not delivered? You have wished and wished and wished, and nothing came.  Sadly, your wish wasn’t right for you. You have to accept this, resist the urge to keep pushing in that direction, open your heart and rethink. Or maybe your wish just needs a tiny tweak.

We have an amazing ability to know what is best for us, but sadly, modern-day life teaches us otherwise.

So going back to my book, I feel like I have thrown it up in the air, in the hope it will land in exactly the right places. If you have kindly preordered from Waterstones, I am beyond grateful, and hopefully The Lovely Law of Life will deliver your copy to you on the right day, at the right time.

With love, Glynnis x

P.S. Patience:- the capacity to accept or tolerate delays, problems or suffering without becoming annoyed or anxious.
