TWO HOURS TO HELP CHNAGE YOUR LIFE

I am often asked what difference meditation/mindfulness can make to your life. The A Dove’s Life workshop’s completed so far this year have concentrated purely on establishing a practice for beginners. I am always humbled by the attendees who often arrive with anxiety and tension but always with a willingness to open up about how they feel and a readiness to embrace the practice. Sometimes it takes some longer than others to relax, but the space is always supportive and safe.

During the course of the workshop, it is lovely watching how people change, look and feel, even after just one meditation. As time moves on, I can witness a sense of lightness, faces looking brighter, and a feeling of hope begins to arrive. Sometimes it just needs someone else to offer a few life lessons that might be helpful to deal with anxiety, issues, relationships, trapped emotions and health problems. Wisdom doesn’t just come from me; the group begins to guide each other too. The energy in the room is calm, nourishing and helpful. I am so glad I went to the Beginners’ Meditation Workshop. I’d been nervous about going, but it was a lovely, safe environment, and Glynnis is so kind and encouraging.
