THE CRISIS BEFORE CORONAVIRUS

If I need to I am ready to self-isolate.

I will use is it as a time to practice yoga.

I’ll meditate.

I’ll write.

I’ll paint.

I’ll study.

I’ll make all the things I’ve been promising myself … when I get a minute.

I’ll meditate.

I’ll send love and healing out to the world.

I’ll bake… trying the recipes I’ve drooled over and never made.

I’ll cook… eat the best food I can, being creative with the contents of my cupboards.

I’ll sew… repairing old clothes.

I’ll meditate.

I’ll send love and healing out to the world.

I’ll watch black and white movies.

I’ll check our finances… looking for cost saving exercises.

I’ll garden.

I’ll meditate.

I’ll practice yoga.

I’ll send love and healing out to the world.

I’ll rest.

I’ll sleep.

I’ll swim… when I can, if I can.

The world was in crisis long before the Coronavirus. Now we are being forced to slow down, to care for ourselves, our families, our friends, our neighbours. To go back to basics. To connect to the beautiful clarity and healing power that nature brings, if we can. Or if you can only see a houseplant, nurture it, watch it grow. If you’ve neither,  look up at the sky and the trees.

Let’s challenge our outlook on life to see the bright side and try not to engage with the darkness.

To use our phones in the old fashioned way, to talk not to text, and in our modern way to FaceTime.

If you use social media use it as a place to share joy not misery, fear or judgment.

It’s scary, it’s big, it’s life-changing, but we will get through it, everything passes… the good and the bad.

We have the capacity to join together in our thoughts, our energy, in our world that exists beyond our physical bodies.

Neighbours are singing on their balconies, and the joy is that it’s quiet enough for them to hear each other.

It’s our time to see and hear the change and act upon it.

Sending all my love and healing to everyone

With love,

Glynnis x
