JANUARY DAILY DIP 2022

January daily dip twenty twenty two. 

For the homeless we vowed to see this thing through. 

No food, no cash, no place to call home.

A life that is wretched and lived mainly alone. 

We joined hands together from near and from far. 

To help raise awareness of those who sleep under a star. 

It was cold, it was windy, it rained here and there.

We braved social media to show that we care. 

Sometimes there seemed too few hours in the day. 

But somehow we made it by the water to play. 

In lakes, meres and a tarn up a fell

Some in a wheelie bin the story to tell. 

Those that could talk to the radio and TV

Did it so well speaking for others to be finally free. 

Inspiring, joyful whatever you see. 

It’s us being us and me being me. 

So I wanted to say, as I warm in my car!!

Thanks for support in person or coins saved up in a jar.

And thanks for… changing the lives of others.. the most.
