COUNTING THE BREATH
Remove any distractions.
Sit comfortably, with your back as straight as possible, feet flat on the floor and hands resting lightly in your lap.
Gently close your eyes.
Bring all your attention to your breath.
Breathing in – breathing out.
On each in breath – count to 3.
On each out breath - count to 5.
Continue this for as long as you wish.
When you are ready, begin to wiggle your fingers and toes. Slowly open your eyes.
Have a good stretch.
Take a sip of water.
And … you’re good to go.
