CALM
Sit comfortably.
Softly close your eyes.
Bring your attention to your breath.
Breathing in – breathing out.
Allow the body to relax.
On each inhalation and exhalation, say quietly to yourself the word ‘calm’
Should any thoughts or sounds distract you, kindly acknowledge them and let them drift past, as if they’re sitting on a beautiful white cloud. Allow the ‘calm’ to melt into the body.
Stay with this meditation for as long as you wish.
When you are ready, begin to wiggle your fingers and toes. Slowly open your eyes.
Have a good stretch.
Take a sip of water.
Enjoy your day.
